Françoise Lefèvre

Practice Areas

I have practised commercial international arbitration primarily first as counsel and later as arbitrator for 40 years, mainly in corporate law, joint ventures, energy, banking, construction and commercial contracts. I also have extensive experience in advising and defending clients in white collar crimes matters.

Career

I joined Linklaters in 1984 and became a dispute resolution partner in 1993 until 2021. I was Global Head of Litigation & Arbitration from 2007 and 2010 and Global Head of Arbitration until 2016. I retired from Linklaters in 2021 and started as a sole practitioner in 2021, focussing primarily on arbitration and WCC.

Professional Memberships

I am a member of the Board of the Cepani and one of the two Belgian representatves at the ICC Court of Arbitration.

I am a member of the LCIA, NAI, ASA, and AFA.
