Career
Furio is a Partner in the Asset Finance Group and he is Responsible for the Maritime Department in Italy.
Furio specialises in shipping with an emphasis on financial transactions, loan agreements, security packages, restructuring and insolvency, NPLs, workouts and derivatives. His experience also includes handling disputes and claims relating to all types of charterparties and bills of lading as well as insurance policy disputes, arrest of vessels and enforcement of securities.
His clients include leading domestic and international shipowners, banks and other financial institutions and insurance companies.
Furio is regularly recognised as one of Italy’s leading shipping finance and restructuring/insolvency lawyers by both domestic publications and research bodies (Top Legal, Legalcommunity, Le Fonti) and international legal directories (Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA, IFLR 1000).
