Gabriela has 25 years of expertise in the intellectual property field. She is a recognized expert in international intellectual property law in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Gabriela’s expertise focuses exclusively on the highly specialized area of intellectual property law, cannabis law, trademark law, patent matters amongst other areas. She counsels clients in the selection and registration process of IP rights and their enforcement (on piracy and anti-counterfeiting strategies, handling complex opposition actions, lawsuits in various countries), securing their success by providing easy to understand legal guidance so that they can focus their full potential, adding a significant competitive advantage to clients’ portfolios.
Her passion for research has motivated her to have authored numerous articles on intellectual property law that have been published in the international guild.
She is currently the appointed President of the AIPPI CA-Caribbean Regional Group.
