Personal

Gaspar heads the litigation, arbitration and tax practice. He has over 15 years of experience on commercial arbitration and has handled several arbitrations matters before International Arbitration Forums and Ad Hoc Tribunals. He has successfully tried numerous cases, principally in the High Courts of Tanzania, the Court of Appeal and international tribunals. He has represented various multinational companies, Banks, government institutions and non-governmental institutions. He has a focus in litigation involving business disputes, often covering breach of contract, debts recovery, construction contracts and general commercial contract matters. His appellate work with the Court of Appeal has included arguing several civil matters and receiving successful decisions.
