Georgie Courtois’ practice encompasses all aspects of information technology law (IT, internet, cryptology, personal data, etc.), intellectual property law (copyright, neighbouring rights, trademarks, domain names) and commercial law.
He represents our law firm’s clients in complex litigation before the civil, commercial and criminal courts or before the supervisory authorities.
He also assists our law firm’s clients in advising, negotiating and drafting contracts.
Georgie is passionate about technology. This understanding of technical issues has enabled him to develop a particular knowledge of legal issues relating to technological innovations (artificial intelligence, connected objects, blockchain, Big Data, 3D printing, robotics, drones) as well as solid experience of issues relating to the fight against computer piracy and cybercrime.
He has also developed a practice in media law, particularly press law and audiovisual law (television, sport).
Professional Memberships
He is a founding member of #HubFranceIA, the French association for artificial intelligence, where he leads the group on legal support, and a member of the “Technology” group of the International Bar Association (IBA).
