Harry has a busy and thriving practice that specialises in real property matters and social housing. Beyond this, he also undertakes contractual, tortious cases which often overlap with his core practice areas. Harry assists clients with a range of issues including landlord and tenant cases, easements and boundary disputes. He is increasingly instructed in the Tribunal on issues including lease extensions, enfranchisement and service charge disputes. In social housing, Harry’s work involves complex trial advocacy as well as dealing with the difficult legal issues that arise in the context of matters such as failed successions applications, public law arguments and Equality Act 2010 defences. His grounding in property work allows him to advance acute legal arguments in his social housing cases. Harry prides himself on his ability to deal with technical issues, whilst being approachable to his clients. Along with being instructed alone on matters beyond his year of call, Harry is frequently led. He was recently led in a mediation listed for three days at which tenants were pursuing claims against a landlord.
