Marc’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of commercial litigation, including commercial, contract, banking and financial disputes. His knowledge of companies and insolvency issues means that he is regularly instructed in matters concerning shareholders disputes and share ownership. Marc's practice has a keen focus on insolvency work and his practice in this area is wide ranging, including both personal and corporate insolvency. He regularly advises and acts for directors, companies and individuals, as well as administrators, liquidators and trustees in bankruptcy in relation to misfeasance claims and other matters arising in insolvency. See for example: Walton v Pickerings [2023] EWCA Civ 602; Ahmed v SOS BEIS [2021] EWHC 523 and Sekhon v Edginton [2015] EWCA Civ 816.

Career

Marc studied law (jurisprudence) at Mansfield College, Oxford. He was called in 2004 and then returned to Oxford University to undertake the Bachelor of Civil Laws, a postgraduate degree in law, obtaining the prestigious Vinerian Scholarship. Having completed pupillage at St Philips Chambers, he started practice in 2006.
