Practice Areas
Helen Longworth has a broad criminal practice. She practices across the spectrum, from complex fraud, money laundering, drugs and other conspiracies to serious sexual offences and work with vulnerable witnesses and defendants. Helen’s defence practice includes complex and organised crime, rape, serious assaults on children and other serious offending. She is particularly skilled at communicating with vulnerable defendants and at condensing large volumes of evidence. On the prosecution side of her practice, Helen is a Category 3 CPS prosecutor for general crime and a specialist RASSO, fraud, POCA, and serious crime prosecutor. She is also a specialist regulatory advocate. Her practice covers a variety of regulatory cases heard in the Crown Court, particularly related to food, housing, and drugs regulations.
