Career

Javier Dolorier, born in 1966, is a co-founder of Gálvez & Dolorier Abogados, a legal boutique specializing in complex tax and labor matters.

With over 25 years of experience, Javier is a distinguished labor lawyer known for his expertise in representing clients and corporations in labor courts and before the Judiciary. His work includes collective bargaining, labor auditing, planning, and restructuring. He stands out as one of the few employment lawyers with extensive experience in working with government agencies and state-owned companies, combining deep labor law knowledge with strong litigation skills.

An active and sought-after labor arbitrator, Javier is a member of the arbitrators' rosters at the Lima Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Center and the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion. His clients include public entities like OSIPTEL, SUNAFIL, ONP, Electroperú, and DHL Express Perú.

Javier is also an academic, teaching Labor Law at Universidad de Lima and Esan University, and has recently authored a Practical Treatise on Labor Law. His previous roles include chairing the High Court of Administrative Liabilities and advising the National Labor Council and the Supreme Court on labor matters. Recently, he was appointed to a committee tasked with reviewing Peru's current labor law.

He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 1993 and holds a postgraduate degree from Universidad de Salamanca, Spain (1999).
