Career

Javier Petrantonio has been the firm’s managing partner since 2011 and is a part of the Dispute Resolution practice area.

He specializes in general commercial law and litigation, with particular emphasis on corporate mergers and acquisitions. He has advised clients in transactions of a wide range of industries, including cable operators, open-to-air television, retail, fishing, hospitality, health, pharmaceutical and fertilizer.

He is a member of boards and oversight commissions of well-known national and international companies.

Professional Memberships

Javier is actively involved in non-profit organizations, notably his role as Vice-President of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires (2010-2014) and as a member of the Ruling Council of Universidad de Buenos Aires Law School (2003-2005, 2009-2011). He is also a member of the International Bar Association, where he was Co-Chair of the Regulation of Lawyers’ Compliance Committee during 2018 and 2019 and where he currently is the Latin American Regional Forum Liaison Officer for the Law Firm Management Committee.
