Jeff is a renowned trial lawyer who has successfully litigated complex commercial and contractual disputes to juries, courts and arbitrators in more than 45 federal and state courts throughout the United States.
Jeff’s trial experience is recognized by his induction into the American College of Trial Lawyers. The College has a highly selective, invitation-only membership. In addition to his trial work, Jeff is a board-appointed Special Litigation Committee member, an arbitrator and mediator.
Clients, ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies, rely upon Jeff for strategic solutions to contract, tort and statutory business disputes, including insurance coverage disputes, health care disputes, disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions, and minority shareholder disputes.
Career
Prior to joining Fox, Jeff was a partner at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP where he practiced since 1988 and held several leadership positions, including chair of the firm, and chair of the Business Litigation Group for more than eight years. He also served as the firm’s general counsel from 1998 to 2013.
Immediately after law school, Jeff was a law clerk from 1986 to 1988 for the Honorable Donald D. Alsop, then-Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
