Toby Watt has been practicing health care law for more than 30 years, representing hospitals, physician groups and various ancillary providers on a variety of health care matters.
He has been significantly involved in managed care contracting and hospital and physician relationships (involving joint ventures, compensation arrangements, gainsharing and other matters), compliance programs and mergers and acquisitions.
Toby also has extensive experience in tax exemption matters and has worked on the formation and operation of health care networks and MCOs and Georgia Hospital Authorities Law matters.
He has a long-standing background in helping devise innovative relationships between hospitals and physicians, and between hospitals and employed staff, to address quality of care and to reward quality improvement.
Toby was a partner at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP, which combined with Fox Rothschild in 2018.
