Jesse Brody, partner in Manatt’s Advertising, Marketing and Media practice, is widely lauded by his clients for his timely, responsive and business-oriented advice. Jesse drafts and negotiates branded entertainment and product integration agreements, media agency and technology agreements, including for media buying, planning, placement, SaaS and PaaS, programmatic advertising services, targeted advertising, cloud-based platforms and tools, data-driven marketing agreements, and e-commerce, as well as talent, celebrity spokesperson and influencer agreements. Jesse advises companies on all aspects of legal compliance for national and international sweepstakes, skill contests, reality television, trade and charitable promotions. He also assists clients with the unique issues involved in marketing to children, cause marketing, structuring and drafting terms for loyalty programs and gift card compliance.
Jesse stands out for his ability to handle cutting-edge issues in digital marketing and data privacy, in addition to his practice helping clients bring their traditional and digital advertising campaigns from concept to execution. He is an International Association of Privacy Professionals-certified privacy practitioner, counseling clients on privacy and data security matters, especially regarding the collection of consumer data, data-sharing arrangements and ensuring that companies’ data collection practices are consistent with their policies.
