Jesse Waslowski

Practice Areas

Jesse is an associate in the National Tax Group and his practice focuses on tax litigation, tax disputes, and commodity tax.

Jesse has a strong understanding of the tax dispute process from audit to appeal. Jesse has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada and he frequently drafts submissions on behalf of clients before federal and provincial tax authorities, in addition to the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, and provincial courts. Jesse is knowledgeable in commodity tax matters and he assists clients achieve tax savings and compliance with respect to Ontario land transfer tax in trust and partnership structures; GST/HST matters for commercial and residential real estate owners and developers; GST/HST matters for financial institutions, financial services, and points programs; and cross-border excise and sales tax matters.
