John appears regularly before federal and provincial labour relations boards, and labour arbitration boards. He has extensive experience before federal and provincial courts and human rights tribunals. John also advises clients on executive employment compensation, incentive plans and severance entitlement and assists with the combination and reorganization of employees in corporate mergers and acquisitions.

John is the author of the recently published Annotated Alberta Employment Standards Code. John is also the author of Human Resources Guide to Health Issues in the Workplace and a co-editor and contributor to Illness and Disability in the Workplace.
