Career
Ms. Jinhee Kim heads the Global Dispute Resolution Team at Jipyong LLC. She specializes in cross-border dispute resolution, international arbitration, and antitrust litigation.
Ms. Kim advises Korean and multinational corporations in complex multi-jurisdiction disputes across Asia, the Americas, Europe, and Africa. She regularly appears before arbitral tribunals of the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, and KCAB, and before federal and state courts of California.
Ms. Kim received her J.D. degree from U.C. Berkeley School of Law and started her legal career in California at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae and Paul Hastings. She became in-house counsel at LG Display’s Seoul headquarters and oversaw global litigation for 7 years before joining Jipyong in 2016. Prior to legal practice, Ms. Kim was a TV journalist for 5 years and a United Nations associate expert in sustainable development.
Based on her diverse experience as in-house and outside counsel with multi-disciplinary and multi-lingual training, Ms. Kim delivers the highest legal caliber and innovative practical solutions to her clients. Ms. Kim is best recognized by peers as a fierce advocate and a first-rate negotiator.
