Career

Mr. Sung Taek Lim is one of the founding members of Jipyong LLC and currently heads the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He has successfully represented clients in an array of landmark cases in various areas including construction and real estate, finance, and technology.

Mr. Lim is one of the national leading practitioners on North Korea matters. He serves on the Legal Advisory Council for Kaesong Industrial Complex under the Ministry of Unification. Also, he is a member of the Special Committee for Research of South-North Korean Laws under the Ministry of Justice.

He regularly advises the Ministry of Unification on such matters and has extensive experience in investing in North Korea, foreign companies in North Korea, legislation on special zones in North Korea, and legislation on exchange and cooperation between South and North Korea.
