Jonathan is a specialist in the fields of clinical negligence, personal injury and asbestos-related industrial diseases, and has a wealth of knowledge, in these areas acting for claimants. He has practised in all areas of personal injury since 1987 eventually working exclusively in this area of law since 2004. Jonathan’s caseload is wide ranging and has included injuries of the utmost severity caused both in traumatic and medical accidents. Many of Jonathan's cases also involve psychiatric injuries. Jonathan’s personal injury cases have included road traffic accidents, employer's liability claims, product liability claims and occupier's liability claims. Jonathan assists our Dispute Resolution department where we act for clients suing solicitors who have failed to handle injury claims satisfactorily.

Jonathan generally handles non routine personal injury claims over conventional road accident or traumatic workplace type injuries.

Career

Jonathan joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2004 and qualified as a chartered legal executive in 2007. Before joining Thomson Snell & Passmore, Jonathan spent seventeen years working as a civil litigator for solicitors based in Kent and Central London, gaining wide ranging practical experience.

Professional Memberships

Jonathan is a member of the Law Society’s personal injury accreditation scheme and acknowledged by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a “senior litigator”. He is also the coordinator of APIL's south east region group.
