He advises on transactions carried out by companies listed on regulated markets, including securities offers, IPOs, public M&A deals (including takeover bids), as well as on complex restructuring and investment transactions led by international funds, including alternative investment funds. An expert in the operation of capital markets, he has designed corporate governance policies for many leading listed companies and their progressive adaptation to the new demands of investors regarding social and environmental factors.
Career
Mr. Aguayo lectures on commercial law at the Centro Universitario Villanueva (attached to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He also speaks regularly at prestigious forums, such as those held by the International Bar Association.

He was director of the Manuel Olivencia Award for Good Corporate Governance from its creation until 2021. Currently, he is an active member of the award’s management committee.
