First Instance Judge in Commercial Matters (1978-1982); Judge of the Federal Court of Appeals in Commercial Matters (1982-1985); partner of Héctor Alegría's law firm (1985 – 1993); Rivera & Asociados (1993-2019).

He is the author of several books and has written more than two hundred articles published in local and international specialized publications.

Professor of Civil Law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires Law School (1984); Professor of Contract Law at the Universidad de San Andrés Law School.
