Mr. Wang graduated from Nankai University where he obtained Bachelor degree in 2010. He attended English laws study program in Oriel college of Oxford University as exchange student in summer 2011. By 2012 Mr. Wang passed national judicial examination and interns at Securities Department of KWM law firm in Beijing. Upon his graduation from Tsinghua University law school as Juris Master in 2013, Mr. Wang’s first job is legal counsel in the top global telecommunication company. He worked 2 years in Dispute Management Division of Legal Department and was selected to fill the Director Legal chair of the Pakistan subsidiary. In 2018, Mr. Wang joined Winners Law Firm. Mr. Wang became partner in 2022, heading the Finance Department——one of the biggest team in Winners.

Experience

Mr. Wang has many years of experience in corporate compliance governance. Since 2013, he has participated in the handling of compliance events in a country involving trade sanctions; since 2015, he has led the legal compliance research of many overseas companies, and led the construction and follow-up management of the compliance systems of multinational companies; in 2016, he led the settlement of overseas tax, customs and other compliance events, won the individual award of Group Company Presidential Award, Gold Medal for Individual, and the group’s Legal Department Presidential Award First Prize; after joining Winners, he led the team to undertake more than ten overall compliance governance consultancy projects for large and medium-sized enterprises. At present, Wang is in charge of the product research and project organization and coordination of the "Winners Compliance Center".

Mr. Wang has passed the TEM-8 exam and has been engaged in foreign-related business for a long time. Wang currently serves a number of overseas clients, foreign-funded enterprises in China, and chambers of commerce. He is also responsible for handling foreign-related business of many large state-owned enterprises and high-quality private enterprises. Wang has extensive experience in foreign-related legal services such as trade, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution, with successful experience in handling foreign-related projects with help of local partners in many countries in Europe, the United States, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and other regions. Wang has the experience and ability to successfully solve major and complex cases and projects.

The fields that Mr. Wang Junyu is familiar with include the telecommunications industry, energy industry, mining industry, manufacturing industry, finance and insurance industry and foreign trade; the projects and disputes handled by Wang mainly involve commercial contracts, equity investment, corporate governance, cross-border business and the FIDIC construction works.

Mr. Wang is currently serving as perennial legal advisor to several commercial organizations, including state-owned enterprises, listed companies, foreign-funded enterprises, private enterprises and financial institutions.
