Kate Mallinson is an acknowledged political risk expert and corporate intelligence practitioner, who has worked continuously in the post-Soviet region since the early 1990s. Kate provides consultancy to companies exposed to the region, assisting clients in placing their business risks in a political context by providing intelligence and analysis on politics, regulation, and government stability. Kate has worked in Odesa and Kyiv and completed numerous investigative projects in Ukraine. Recognised as an authority on the region, Kate enjoys regular dialogue with an unrivalled network of influential policymakers, businesspeople, journalists, and commentators. She has acted as an expert witness on Ukraine’s political economy. Kate is also an Associate Fellow at Chatham House’s Russia and Eurasia Programme.
