Practice Areas
Kirsty has a busy and broad commercial practice. Kirsty has particular expertise in warranty claims, shareholder disputes, claims against directors and claims based on dishonesty and fraud. Kirsty also has experience in advising on restrictive covenants in both the commercial and employment sense and insolvency matters.
Kirsty regularly appears as sole counsel in the High Court and County and is regularly led by silks within chambers.
Recent work includes being instructed on an unfair prejudice petition where a director has set up in direct competition, a breach of warranty arising from a share purchase agreement and a claim in dishonesty relating to financial advice.

Kirsty was called to the Bar in 2011.
Prior to being at the self-employed Bar, Kirsty worked as an in-house barrister at a top tier 100 law firm where she worked predominately on a USD75 million warranty claim arising from a share sale (Triumph v Primus). Kirsty also gained experience in cross border litigation when she assisted an English company operating in Afghanistan to obtain a worldwide freezing injunction and pursue claims for dishonesty against one of its directors.
