Lane has an active and diverse construction litigation practice, representing developers, general contractors and trades in complex construction matters throughout the United States and internationally. He has extensive experience with both private and public projects. His work ranges from contract negotiations to claim prevention and management, construction defects, and suspension and debarment proceedings.
Lane takes pride in representing numerous clientele at the forefront of sustainable building. He counsels owners, developers, solar providers, and contractors on a wide range of issues that arise throughout a sustainable project’s lifetime.
Lane speaks regularly throughout the country on topics such as sustainable building, claims, and risk management. He is also active within the firm as the Hiring Partner and leads the Summer Associate Program.

Representation of owner-developer in multi-million dollar claim against mechanical engineer for errors and omissions in design and L.E.E.D. accreditation.
Multi-prime litigation on behalf of a general contractor involving claims against a public owner, design professional, and multiple trades for delay damages, lost productivity, out of scope work, in conjunction with the successful defense of owner claims in excess of $10 million dollars.
Multi-jurisdictional representation of a contractor involved in state and federal debarment proceedings and successful challenge to state’s debarment action in Schuylkill Prods., Inc. v. Commonwealth, Dep’t of Transp., 962 A.2d 1249 (Pa. Commw. Ct. 2008).
Mechanics’ lien claim and arbitration seeking recovery of extra-work and delay damages related to L.E.E.D. and design errors.
Prosecution of differing site condition claims in the US Court of Federal Claims against the US government and related delay claims.
