Previously instructed by core participants in the Dawn Sturgess and Brook House Public Inquiries, and as junior counsel to the Undercover Police Inquiry.
Career
Formerly a solicitor, Leonard defended high profile criminal cases prior to joining the Government Legal Department where he worked as an in-house advocate and litigator before joining chambers.
Leonard has undertaken secondments at the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, the Attorney General’s Office and at a Regulator.
