Luke worked in the construction industry, mainly in the Far East, prior to coming to the bar. Given this technical background, Luke’s practice has focused on construction and engineering claims or disputes involving technology of one form or another.
Luke has considerable experience in this field, with his expertise in law and engineering being in demand both as arbitrator and advocate. Luke is recognised as one of the jurisdiction’s experts in the increasingly complicated topic of payment mechanisms under construction contracts. He also has now carved out a practice in relation to nuclear engineering, dealing with disputes covering nuclear power and also nuclear weapons.
