Career
Marcelo Viveiros de Moura has over 35 years of experience in general corporate law, advising Brazilian and international clients on domestic and cross-border landmark M&A transactions.
Marcelo is also an accomplished academic, having served as a professor of corporate law at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School and authoring several articles on corporate law, project finance, and oil and gas regulatory matters.
Marcelo has held several prestigious positions, including chairing the British Chamber of Commerce in Brazil, where he now holds a life honorary Board seat. In addition, Marcelo is a board member of the Rio de Janeiro chapter of LIDE, a corporate leaders association.
He is also actively involved in philanthropy, serving as the chairman and president of the Association of Friends of the Parque Lage Visual Arts School and as a board member of Parceiros da Educação, an NGO focused on improving public education in Rio de Janeiro.
