Laura Bacigalupo is partner of the Foreign Trade & Customs department at Bruchou & Funes de Rioja.
In her daily practice she provides customs and international trade advice to both domestic and international clients.
She intervenes in the design and planning of foreign trade operations of the companies she advises, especially related to the agro-export, mining and hydrocarbon industry.
In her professional performance, she analyzes new businesses and opportunities, advises on particular regimes, matters related to promotion policies and intervenes in the resolution of legal issues (including litigation).
She worked at the Argentine Ministry of the Economy, in the National Directorate of Taxes under the Technical Customs Valuation Area, before moving on to Ernst & Young, where she was part of the Tax Law Area from 2000 to 2002.
She actively participates in the Foreign Trade, Customs and Finance commission of the Chamber of Public Limited Companies
She obtained her law degree at Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1997. Her expertise is in the area of customs and, in particular, customs valuation.
