Filip has extensive experience in court and advising boards of directors. He is also a member of the Kirkland Executive Committee.
Career
Served as Deputy U.S. Attorney General (No. 2 position at the U.S. Justice Department) and as a U.S. District Judge in Chicago. Unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate for both positions. Served as a law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia, U.S. Supreme Court (1993-1994).
