Mary is a partner in Fox Williams' corporate team. She advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of corporate law. As head of the firm's publishing & digital media sector group, she has a particular focus on advising content-rich businesses.
Mary advises both listed and unlisted companies and institutions on a wide range of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and venture capital and private equity fundraisings.
Mary also advises listed companies on a variety of equity capital market transactions and corporate governance issues. She also regularly advises corporate clients on alternative business models including employee collectives and not-for-profits structures.
Mary has a particular focus on content-rich businesses in the publishing, media and technology sector and is head of the firm’s publishing and digital media sector group. She regularly attends and speaks at publishing events and trade fairs and has a particular expertise in advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of publishing businesses, specific titles and subsidiary rights and publishing imprints, list and digital assets.
