Career

Megan Berge partners with companies to develop creative strategies for difficult Clean Air Act and climate change issues, including sustainability planning and climate-based litigation. She has an active practice representing electric generating companies, natural gas distribution companies, trade associations, and cement and other industries. Most recently, Megan argued before the Oregon Court of Appeals and won a landmark climate case, obtained dismissal on motion of a greenwashing case, counseled companies on implementation of California’s climate disclosure laws, and won in the 9th and 10th Circuits motions to stay EPA actions related to Clean Air Act interstate transport requirements. Megan also helms industry coalitions, which provide practical thought leadership on key environmental developments to aid companies in business planning.
