Miriam is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is regularly acting as counsel or arbitrator in arbitrations under ICC Rules, VIAC Rules, UNCITRAL rules, rules of the Arbitration Court of Slovak Bar Association and the Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agricultural Chamber.
Miriam is the President of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors, where she is also a member of the Methodical Legislative Committee for Corporate Income Tax and the Methodical Legislative Committee for Tax Administration. She was a member of the recodification committee responsible for preparing the new Slovak Civil Code. Miriam is a member of the Committee for Civil Law at the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia. She is an attorney at law admitted to the Slovak Bar Association and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
