Nicola Frost is a specialist family law barrister. Her practice encompasses finance and private law matters. Nicola is highly experienced in matters involving financial remedies upon divorce under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, cohabitation disputes (TOLATA) and Schedule 1 applications. She regularly deals with complex financial backgrounds, including business assets, multiple trusts (including offshore), international property and the enforcement of pre-nuptial or post-nuptial agreements. She is also experienced in farming cases.
Nicola has specialist expertise in the area of prenuptial agreements, as she is the author of the seminal book, “A Practical Guide to Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreements”.
Nicola’s private law practice covers the spectrum of child law matters. She is particularly experienced in relationship breakdowns involving international child abduction and relocation cases, both internal and overseas. She deals with complex evidence, whether that is medical, legal or factual. Nicola sensitively deals with allegations of domestic and sexual abuse, psychiatric disorders and issues of alcoholism and drug misuse. She has also acted in contentious surrogacy cases.
