Patricia Redmond is a Shareholder of the firm and based out of South Florida. Patricia has been an Adjunct Professor since 1999 and won Outstanding Professor Award twice.

Professional Memberships

For decades, Patricia has served on the Board of Directors and held various leadership roles including President for the American Bankruptcy Institute (“ABI”) and the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida (“BBASDFL”). She also served as Chair of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association. She is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, where she is the current President, having formerly served as the Chair of the Board of Regents.

Patricia also founded the Bankruptcy Assistance Clinic at St. Thomas University School of Law and the University of Miami.

Patricia also served on the Uniform Law Commission’s Drafting Committee on Assignment for Benefit of Creditors from 2023 - Present.

Publications

Patricia is the author of various articles on ethics, individual Chapter 11 and equitable subordination. She has also recently written on the modernization of local rules requiring “wet ink” signatures and the impact of COVID-related decisions on the Chevron deference.
