Patrick specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance law, aviation law, arbitration, real estate law and litigation. Recognized as “one of the most knowledgeable commercial lawyers in town” by the Chambers and Partners Guide, he has a wide experience advising both local and international clients and contributes to Lebanon’s legal reforms through his membership in several committees such as the Ministry of Justice committee for the modernization of the Code of commerce. Patrick is known for his exceptional expertise and client-focused approach.
Patrick started working as a lawyer in 1988. He maintains strong ties with legal research and is Professor of corporate law and M&A at the Faculty of Law of the Saint Joseph University.
Patrick holds an LL.D. from Université Panthéon-Assas Paris 2 for a thesis titled “The fiduciary ownership of shares” that won the Albert Wahl Prize and the Prize of the Association of Corporate Legal Counsels of Paris and Ile-de-France. He published several legal studies in Lebanese and French specialized legal gazettes.
