Practice Areas
With over two decades of private practice and in-house experience, Po Yi provides cross-purpose, multidisciplinary legal counseling on transactional and regulatory matters in advertising, entertainment and media. She works with clients in strategically assessing and addressing competitive and regulatory compliance challenges, including evaluating advertising and marketing practices, developing compliance programs and assisting clients in the event of legal or regulatory actions related to advertising and marketing practices.
Additionally, Po negotiates business alliances, including sponsorships, tie-in arrangements with sports and entertainment properties, co-promotion deals, media deals, agency agreements, and talent endorsements, while advising on content marketing, production, and distribution issues and the development and implementation of advertising and marketing programs across multiple platforms.
She works with clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including financial services, consumer products, retail, hospitality, sports, media and entertainment, and advertising. Her clients include major brands, independent agencies, and digital media and technology companies.
In addition to working with clients, Po hosts and executive produces Manatt’s Perfect Balance: An Advertising Law Podcast, which covers hot topics with industry professionals and Manatt colleagues across multiple disciplines. She also speaks at significant advertising industry webinars and virtual conferences, often offering insight into the world of influencer, digital and social media marketing.
