Poppy specialises in a broad range of employment matters as well as advising on immigration issues.
In relation to employment law, Poppy advises both employers and senior executives. Her experience covers all areas of employment law, with particular interest in advising on high value employment litigation, discrimination, relocations and workplace closures, and performance management and disciplinary and grievance issues. She advises senior executives on all stages of the employment relationship from contractual terms on entry to negotiating exits.
Poppy also specialises in business aspects of immigration law and the right to work in the UK. In particular, she advises employers on identifying and retaining global talent specifically around sponsoring employees to work in the UK and complying with immigration laws. She also advises individuals and their families entering or remaining in the UK as Skilled Workers or Temporary Workers, or in respect of settlement and British citizenship.
Her clients include businesses and individuals predominantly within sport, theatre, media & entertainment, and within the financial services industry. Poppy also advises start-up businesses or individuals engaging in start-up ventures.
