Practice Areas
Randall is a member of the land use practice group at CH& and his practice focuses on real estate acquisition, development, land use permits, and appeals. His clients include property owners, developers, consultants and regulatory bodies and he guides them through each stage of real estate development. Randall is skilled in instituting or defending against lawsuits related to land use entitlements, including subdivision approvals, conditional use and special use permits, and other development permits. He is a creative problem solver who utilizes pragmatic solutions to navigate the legal landscape and help clients successfully achieve their project goals.
Randall is also the leader of the CH& Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Group. He is dedicated to supporting TOD projects and believes in their ability to shape the future of our cities in exciting ways by improving our quality of life through the creation of dense, mixed-use neighborhoods with convenient access to our expanding transit system. Randall understands the fundamental barriers and opportunities involved in TOD and has the expertise in the areas of land use, real estate acquisition and sale, finance, and litigation to help clients make their TOD projects a reality.
