Richard has over 30 years’ experience specialising in the conduct of high profile manslaughter, corporate manslaughter, health and safety and regulatory defence matters in the rail, health, local authority, public utility, waste, construction, demolition, police, fire and rescue and other public service industries. He has for the last 15 years at least been recognised as one of the UK’s leading Health & Safety lawyers and there is little that Richard can’t do or hasn’t done. Testimony to client’s high regard for Richard’s skills was seen in the unsolicited movement of over 15 of his matters when he transferred to Clyde & Co in June 2021, the vast majority being fatalities.
