Practice Areas
Robbert Snelders focuses his practice on EU competition law.
He has extensive experience in EU and worldwide merger control proceedings, EU and international cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, litigation before national courts and the European Courts in Luxembourg, and arbitration proceedings.
Career
Robbert is a Dutch citizen. He joined the firm in New York in 1992 and became a partner in 2001. From 1996 to 1997, he was Referendaire for Justice P.J.G. Kapteyn at the European Court of Justice.
He holds the following degrees: LL.M. from Harvard Law School (1992); D.A.E.L.S. -from College of Europe, Bruges (1991); Master in law, Legatum Boeckelmannianum (highest GPA) from Universiteit Leiden (1990).

Member of the New York and Brussels Bars.

Co-editor of annual "Antitrust Developments in Europe" and co-author of "The Dominance and Monopolies Review".

Robbert is a native Dutch speaker, is fluent in English and French, and proficient in German.
