Career

Rodrigo has been a speaker and lecturer in numerous national and international meetings and seminars on matters of his expertise, including the annual meetings of the International trademark Association, INTA. He has been vice-president and board member of the Chilean Industrial Property Association (ACHIPI) and currently he is one of the three members of the Ethics Commission of said association. Mr. Velasco served as Chile’s delegate before the Executive Committee of the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AIPPI). Rodrigo was the Regional Ambassador of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for Intellectual Property until 2017. Currently, he is member of the Arbitration and Mediation Center’s Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
