Rosie is a Senior Associate in Stewarts' Divorce and Family department. She specialises in children law and represents clients in a wide range of complex private family law matters including contact disputes, international relocations, cases involving allegations of abuse and alienation as well as financial provision for children.
Rosie acts for clients in all areas of family law, with a particular specialism in children law.
Her children law work includes acting for clients in relation to disputes over contact and residence, international and domestic relocations, child abduction, adoption as well as applications to obtain and to terminate parental responsibility. Rosie also acts for clients in relation to applications for financial provision for their children. She has extensive experience in highly complex cases including those involving allegations of domestic abuse against the other parent and the children.
Rosie works with a network of child-centred professionals who assist her clients in supporting themselves and their children during and after the legal process.
Career
Rosie graduated with an MA (Hons) in History from the University of Edinburgh. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course with distinction before completing a training contract at Schillings. Rosie joined Stewarts in 2015.

Rosie is a regular contributor of podcasts and articles to legal publications and the wider media, and has provided expert media commentary on children law issues to publications including the Financial Times and Luxury London.
Personal
Outside of work, Rosie enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with family and friends.
Experience
Acted within Supreme Court proceedings and has extensive experience in complex fact-finding hearings in cases involving allegations of abuse against the other parent and the children.
Acts for mothers and fathers in cases involving allegations of substance abuse, as well as for applicants to adoptions and those seeking to terminate the other parent’s parental responsibility.
Regularly advises clients in relation to contact arrangements for their children, as well as issues including schooling, travel and the relocation of children domestically and internationally.
Recently acted for the successful respondent in an application by the father for the court’s leave to remove a child from England to Australia
