Samantha Castle

Practice Areas

Samantha maintains a varied practice dealing with a range of cases from cycling accidents to workplace incidents to public liability claims. She heads up the Personal Injury team providing advice and support to colleagues from the beginning of the claim to the very end. She is the “go-to” for triaging new claims and responsible for allocation of cases within the department.

She undertakes regular file reviews with members of the team to guide and direct on challenging issues regarding liability, quantum and causation.

Career

Samantha qualified in August 2008 after training with Barcan+Kirby (formerly Kirby Simcox) from 2006. She has progressed through the ranks and was made Salary Partner in 2018 whilst on maternity leave.

Professional Memberships

Samantha is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is, as part of the Firm, a member of the Bristol Law Society.

Personal

Samantha is a loyal and dedicated person who began her career at Barcan+Kirby (formerly Kirby Simcox) in 2006.

Samantha enjoys at-home workouts, eating out and wine tasting (hence the need for the workouts!). Samantha also set up a book group which has been going strong for 10 years and they regularly meet to discuss each other’s chosen books for that month.
