Career
Samuel Yang is the main partner of AnJie Broad’s Technology, Data Protection & Cybersecurity practice. He has worked as an in-house counsel and external lawyer in the TMT sectors for nearly 20 years and is regarded as a true expert in these areas. Samuel advises clients on a wide range of regulatory, commercial and corporate matters, especially in areas such as telecommunications, cybersecurity, data protection, internet, social networking, online games, hardware and software, technology procurement and transfer, distribution and licensing, and other technology-related matters. He also advises clients on compliance, dispute resolution and employment.
Samuel’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, large state-owned enterprises and leading Chinese internet companies.
Samuel is a regular contributor to many legal journals. His publications regarding PRC data protection and cybersecurity law are well-received, widely reproduced and quoted.
Before he joined AnJie Broad, Samuel worked for DLA Piper, CMS Cameron McKenna and British Telecom.
