She brings the benefits of this exceptional experience to Eversheds Sutherland, where she litigates complicated tax controversy matters for clients and represents clients in tax investigations.
As an AUSA, Sarah supervised over 100 prosecutors in federal tax matters, and worked extensively with the Internal Revenue Service and the Tax Division of the Department of Justice. She also led numerous high-profile cross-border investigations, including the Panama Papers investigation, conducted 14 federal jury trials, and argued multiple appeals before the Second Circuit. Prior to her time as an AUSA, Sarah was a defense attorney at two prominent New York law firms, where she advised clients on anticipating, managing and mitigating risks related to government enforcement and represented clients in all phases of civil litigation.
