Career
Seong Won CHANG is a partner in the Litigation & Arbitration Group and a chair of the International Litigation team. He has successfully defended private clients in complex civil and criminal litigation, and his wide-ranging practice includes intellectual property and construction litigation. He also has extensive experience of seeking or lifting various types of injunctions.
Mr. Chang has more than 20 years of trial experience, having served as a judge since 1989 in courts throughout the country. He has chaired in courts of major Korean cities, including the Daejeon District Court, the Seoul Central District Court and the Busan High Court. Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2012, he has served 3 years as a Chief Judge of the Seoul High Court.
Mr. Chang also has served as a professor of the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court.
