Practice Areas
As a partner in Lee & Ko’s White Collar Crime Practice Group, Youngsub Jang’s practice focuses on a full spectrum of criminal cases, including white-collar and corporate criminal defense matters.
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, he worked as a Public Prosecutor for over 19 years in various jurisdictions. Through his long and distinguished career as a prosecutor, Mr. Jang obtained extensive experience and developed in-depth, practical skills in investigating and handling the prosecution/ litigation of numerous complex cases.
Particularly noteworthy is his service as Chief Prosecutor for the Finance, Capital Market and Tax investigation Division in the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, which is the only division that is tasked with full responsibility for prosecuting finance, capital market and tax-related crimes in Korea. He has handled numerous cases involving large-scale economic/financial crimes, white collar crimes, crimes relating to fair trade, tax disputes, securities crimes and intellectual property crimes.
