Zoey is one of the youngest publishing specialist lawyers in the UK. She advises authors, literary estates, agents, publishers, and trade bodies, on all aspects of publishing deals and book-related copyright issues. She also advises both rights holders and producers on rights acquisition, development and exploitation, including book-to-screen and book-to-stage deals.
Career
Before qualifying as a lawyer, Zoey obtained a first class degree in English Language & Literature from the University of Oxford and worked in a number of bookshops, including Waterstones, Harrods’ bookstore and Heywood Hill. She is now taking a part-time MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London alongside her legal work.

Zoey is a member of The British Literary and Artistic Copyright Association and sits on the Copyright Committee of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers.
