About

Provided by Tonkon Torp LLP

Our Labor & Employment group works with businesses to manage employee relations, protect competitive positions, deal with union activity, and defend employment litigation. We help companies large and small comply with local, state, and federal employment laws, minimizing exposure to litigation. We identify problem areas in the workplace, develop policies and procedures to address those problems, and train management and employees to prevent costly disputes. When workplace disputes do escalate, we assist in resolving them out of court, at trial, and on appeal.

Our counseling and training programs cover: harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour practices, state and federal leave, the ADA/reasonable accommodations, employment hiring and discharge, OSHA/workplace safety, non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements, employment contracts, executive compensation and employee benefits, employee handbooks, affirmative action plans, and more.
