Zhihe Partners, founded in 1995, is one of the first partnership law firms in China. The existing team consists of senior partners from King & Wood Mallesons, Jintiancheng, Jincheng & Tongda, Everbright, Longan and other domestic law firms, as well as foreign lawyers' representative offices, forming a professional boutique firm with core strengths in corporate and commercial legal services. Currently, Zhihe has more than 170 employees, 5 branches, and representative offices in Los Angeles, USA and Hong Kong, China.

Zhihe Partners focuses on large and medium-sized clients in the financial and commercial fields, with practice areas covering securities and corporate listing, asset restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, funds and investment, real estate development and infrastructure construction, Internet and e-commerce, automotive and industrial manufacturing, medical investment planning, bonds and asset securitisation, disposal of financial non-performing assets, corporate crisis management, bankruptcy and reorganisation, international trade and arbitration, family and wealth management, etc., with specialised divisions. At present, Zhihe Partners is one of the 6 consultant legal service organisations authorised by Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), providing legal services and support for various projects for many governmental departments, streets, state-owned (controlling) enterprise groups, and state-owned shareholding enterprises in Shanghai. At the same time, Zhihe is also the legal training base or one of the first authorised training bases for a number of universities, including East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, and Shanghai Maritime University.
